bah, im changing my mind way too often :S i've scraped 5 ideas so far, i'll finish the last one some other time, i like the idea, but im not in the mood to paint sunset atm

Yup, the right one definitely works better. Closed eyes are a good idea if there's something else in the drawing that works with it (such as detailed background, flying fish, certain type of expression, facial paint, etc). For something like this that heavily concentrates on the character's face, it's a better idea to have open eyes.

hmm, yeah i guess you are right, thanks guys :3 Sometimes i can't really decide which one is better when it comes to drawing my own characters, thats one of the reasons why i left paragon for the end.

@Perynne yep, i'll go with full focus on the face and on the wings and not so detailed background.

I don't usually do this, but started to draw one feather at the time, so i wanted to finish it quicker than Dwayna's feathers, so just used brushes.
